OOC: The Rules
I emailed the FH mods to get clearance for C.R.A.C.K. since, obviously, we could have a significant impact on big events like zombie or werewolf attacks. Or, say, a 50 ft tall plotypus rampage.

We have been approved (Yay, we get to do stuff!) with one stipulation: nothing on campus. There's a No Vigilante rule in effect on campus and, IC, Rover has that area covered anyway. (Okay, two stipulations if you count "follow the game's rules" as one. Rules of Chronofluidity, Canon, etc all count... Unless, of course, we have to do something that runs in direct opposition to all of that. Who wants to fall into a time warp?)

We do have permission to go crazy anywhere else, though. Fandom Town? The Door-to-Door Salesman of Heroism is knocking at your door. New locations? Plotting Zoo, keep your animals in check!

I'll officially announce C.R.A.C.K. tomorrow (Wednesday, October 12) so I have a little time to write a good post and flesh out the user info a bit (and maybe, just maybe, make a logo for iconning purposes, but if anyone else beats me to it, that's fine by me!). If anybody wants to come up with a superhero name before this goes public, now's the time.

I look forward to having weird-ass adventures with all of you.

I fear you. And yet, look forward to having fun with you.

I think that is a fair reaction. I think the same thing about myself from time to time.

The Tick is now my new favorite Superhero. And for someone coming in from hardcore DC that says something big.
The Tickbugofjustice on October 12th, 2005 05:38 pm (UTC)
I'm a Marvel guy, myself, but Tick has been right there at the top of my list since the cartoon first aired. If only I could find the comics somewhere...

Oh, and Tick would totally beat Superman in a fight. Laughter is the new Kryptonite!
Jack O'Neill2ls_in_oneill on October 13th, 2005 12:29 am (UTC)
The only things I like about Marvel are X-Men, Young Avengers, and Runaways.

Because Superman would laugh himself stupid as hell.

*g* So out of the 239/240 roommates, do we have everyone but Elizabeth in here? *g*
The Tickbugofjustice on October 13th, 2005 04:08 am (UTC)
I don't actually know who all is in 239/240, but it does sound about right.

And Elizabeth's going to be in the zoo group, so everyone is mixed up with Tick in some way.

Jack, Major K!, Aeryn, Janet and Liz are the 239/240 fiends.

Can Kitty join C.R.A.C.K.?
The Tickbugofjustice on October 15th, 2005 04:52 pm (UTC)
Of course she can! Lockheed, too. Buffy and Kitty were the two students I most wanted to recruit but didn't due to IC reasoning.

Kitty will have to talk to Tick IC, though. He'll be around later, hiding from the tests, or he'll probably set up the C.R.A.C.K. Table in the park in case of werewolves tonight. Or you can always leave him a voicemail, but, come on, he'll be hiding from tests and preparing for werewolves. Voicemail is boring in comparison.

You guys can use the White Star for HQ . . . Ivanova will appreciate the company. And Iva-mun would love to be on C.R.A.C.K., as well.
The Tickbugofjustice on October 15th, 2005 10:32 pm (UTC)
Thanks for the offer, but I'm envisioning more of a poorly-renovated warehouse that MacGyver could have fun messing around with. Anything more would simply add credibility to the organization that it just shouldn't have with Tick rinning the thing.

(Also, I have no clue what the White Star is. *Never watched B5.*)

As for joining C.R.A.C.K., you'll have to catch Tick IC and convince him that Ivanova is dedicated to helping people. That isn't too hard to do, though. :)

*grins* The White Star is a ship. Looks like this. Right-o.
The Tickbugofjustice on October 15th, 2005 11:01 pm (UTC)
Oh, yeah, that is WAY too snazzy for this operation. Thanks for the offer, though!
